Mad in Heaven

Priyanka lives with her parents and works in a bank. Ravi is a doctor whose parents live with him. She is ready to mingle but has no boyfriend. He is immersed in work and has no girlfriend. Arranged marriage isn’t going to be easy. She can cope with his love for brinjals but can’t stand his ‘safari suit’. Her beauty ensnares his heart but ties his tongue into knots. When Indian wedding tradition is thrust upon partly westernized, fully confused youth, what ensues is ‘mad in heaven’. Priyanka’s peppy younger sister Palak has a history of winning hearts. But whose heart will she win? A cunning businessman weaves his plot around these innocents. Confusion abounds when detectives turn up. Enter Saby Singh, an alcoholic friend and ‘Su Ko’ Muthu, a budding politician. Things now begin to look distinctly grim. But then this is the land of Bollywood, the factory of happy endings! There might be a way out. Yet. Don’t. Give up. Hope.
